a dormancy rating of 4, with a winter-hardiness

producers across the USA. Baralfa 42 IQ has
a unique combination of characteristics,
including
excellent disease resistance, greater yield
punch, wide adaptability, traffic resistance,
manure tolerance and of course, improved.

|
Baralfa 53 HR has earned the much coveted HR
designation for being Highly Resistant to all
of the following major pests and diseases; Bacterial
Wilt (Bw), Fusarium Wilt (Fw), Verticilium Wilt
(Vw), Anthracnose (An), Phytophthora Root Rot
(PRR), and resistant to the following Pea Aphid
(PA), Spotted Alfalfa Aphid (SAA), and Stem
Nematodes (Sn).
Baralfa 53 HR
has a dormancy of 5, with a winter-hardiness
rating of 3, giving it the very high yeild potential
that is associated with class 5 varieties. However,
it has significantly better winter-hardiness,
increasing it's climatic adaptation and suitability.
